Program Highlights

At the galas, learn how Global Fund for Children takes smart risks to spark big change, and get inspired by GFC’s incredible youth leaders and local partners from around the globe. Speakers will include:

  • Omari McQueen, GFC’s 12-year-old Global Ambassador and patron, and the world’s youngest vegan chef
  • Mete Coban, MBE, Chair of GFC’s Youth Leadership Council, GFC Board Member, and Chief Executive of My Life My Say
  • Maya Ajmera, Founder of GFC, President and CEO of the Society for Science, and Publisher of Science News
  • John Hecklinger, GFC’s President and CEO

Learn about the many ways you can be a champion for children and youth leaders already making a difference in their communities!

Celebration of Courage

The UK Gala and US Gala will kick off our Celebration of Courage Campaign. This month of virtual events honors the community courage changing children’s lives. It also includes a global conversation with young leaders on COVID-19, and it culminates with the announcement of the 2021 Juliette Gimon Courage Award winners.
