Thanks to GFC's Spark Fund financial support, knowledge, and network, I successfully founded a social enterprise in children’s publishing on environmental themes and built a creative network of artists dedicated to this cause.

No llegamos con recetas ni con diagnósticos definitivos. Llegamos con preguntas, con tiempo y con la disposición de dejarnos transformar por los encuentros.
Between April and June 2025, at Global Fund for Children (GFC), we traveled through communities in Honduras and Colombia as part of the HEEL Initiative —heel, a Maya word meaning transformation and an invitation to nurture caring masculinities. We did not arrive with predesigned solutions or definitive diagnoses. We arrived with questions, with time, and with the willingness to let ourselves be transformed by the encounters.
At Global Fund for Children (GFC), we know that supporting grassroots organizations goes far beyond writing checks. Our non-financial support includes mentorship, organizational development advice, and yes, helping partners figure out if their name is helping or hindering their mission.
