2019 Maya Ajmera Sustainability Award Webinar

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM EDT
Online and accessible worldwide (RSVP required)

What is the webinar about?

The webinar will explore these questions about local sustainability – and more. Learn how we’re redefining approaches that foster sustainability and how we’ve rejuvenated this year’s award selection process in a more participatory way. Find out how Malaika, a 2019 award winner, has empowered thousands of rural girls in the Democratic Republic of the Congo through its girls’ school, community center, and clean water program. And hear firsthand from Malaika’s founder Noëlla Coursaris Musunka about her inspiration, her story, and her organization’s partnership with GFC.

Each year, GFC offers the Maya Ajmera Sustainability Award to a few of its highest-achieving partners. This signature annual award, named in honor of our founder, recognizes the success of these partners while providing an investment in their long-term stability.
