
Sophia Coleman
Africa Programs Intern
Sophia Coleman supports Global Fund for Children’s Africa team in project management, funding, and development. Her previous experience in nonprofits includes working with the employment team at the Ethiopian Community Development Council in Virginia resettling refugees in the area, as well as being part of the fundraising group at the International Youth Organization for Peace and Sustainability. Sophia has a bachelor’s degree from the George Washington University in international affairs with a concentration in comparative political, economic, and social systems and a minor in Spanish. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in global policy with a focus on developmental policy at Boston University. Within global policy, Sophia focuses on supporting women’s rights worldwide and on sustainable development. She speaks Spanish and French.
