Salome is a Peace Activist, a human rights advocate, specifically for women, children and the marginalized in society. Currently she serves as Program Manager at Community Healthcare Initiative (CHI). She is actively working on tackling issues that affects women and children, especially their sexual and reproductive health and rights. Salome has a Master’s Degree in peace studies and conflict transformation from the Koffi Annan Institute for Conflict Transformation (KAICT) Graduate Program, University of Liberia. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in public administration from the University of Liberia. Over the years, Salome has work with various women networks in Liberia on campaigns influencing policies that protects women’s and girls’ rights. She is committed to spending her life advocating for a change on issues that affect her community and the world at large. She envisions a world where women and girls are economically empowered and all their rights are protected.
