Nafiz Imtiaz Hassan
Program Specialist for Bangladesh
Nafiz Imtiaz Hassan is Global Fund for Children’s Program Specialist for Bangladesh. Prior to joining GFC, Nafiz led several initiatives at Bangladesh National Woman Lawyers Association (BNWLA), Disabled Rehabilitation and Research Association (DRRA), Maxwell Stamp PLC, the International Organization for Migration, and Action against Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation of Children (ATSEC) Bangladesh in the diverse programmatic areas of anti-trafficking, access to justice, child protection, and disability inclusion. During this time, he was responsible for fundraising and resource mobilization, governance and organizational development, capacity building, policy advocacy, and program implementation. Nafiz received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in law. A native Bengali speaker, he is also fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi.
