Partnerships Specialist

Lida strengthens GFC’s partnership and donor opportunities in Europe, developing innovative strategies and solutions. She also serves as GFC’s key point of contact for the Youth Leadership Council. Lida has more than eight years of experience in an NGO sector leading advocacy, coalition building and human rights projects. Lida has previously worked as the Executive Director of Society Without Violence NGO in Armenia, protecting the rights of women and advocating for domestic violence legislation and gender education in public schools. In her years of leadership at the organization, she built a strong international network and partnerships with youth organizations and networks. She has started and supported local grassroots initiatives focusing on young women and peacebuilding. Lida has also worked with other grassroots and international organizations, providing expertise in their capacity development, human rights advocacy, and fundraising efforts. She is one of the founding members and previous Board Chair of the Non-discrimination and Equality Coalition in Armenia. Lida holds a master’s degree in human rights from Central European University and a bachelor’s degree in social work from Yerevan State University. She is fluent in Armenian and has a working proficiency in Russian.
