Emmy Zoomlamai Okello
Foundation for Inclusive Community Help (Uganda)
Emmy Zoomlamai Okello is the executive director of the Foundation for Inclusive Community Help (FICH). Emmy is dedicated to providing equal learning opportunities for children in rural and post-conflict communities. With a background in education and business studies and experience as an International Labour Organization’s SIYB Master trainer, he has influenced policy design and executed economic and social development programs. Trained by the BBC World Service in media business content creation, he leads with a human-centered program approach. Emmy’s participation in initiatives like the Perennial Leadership, Collaborative Learning Initiative (CLI), and Global Fund for Children’s Step-Up program has transformed his life story. In his role as the Uganda Country Lead for RELI Africa, Emmy Zoomlamai assists and offers guidance to the RELI Uganda Country Chapter Leadership in executing its strategic plan, and he has recently been elected as a Co-Chair of the Uganda Peace Corps Advisory Committee 2025.
