Barbara Davidson
Development Operations Manager, UK Trust
Barbara Davidson has been involved in the UK’s charity sector for almost 20 years and has exceptional experience and commitment to the mission and vision of GFC. Barbara works closely with the managing director of the UK Trust to help develop donor relationships and raise awareness of the UK Trust’s efforts in the UK, Europe, and beyond. She designs, implements, and manages all of the systems in the UK office, including financial management, operations and governance, fundraising, and human resources. She also contributes to the strategy and direction of GFC in support of the leadership team. Prior to joining the UK Trust, she worked as the administrative director of the Legal Assistance Trust, a UK charity that seeks to maintain and protect the fundamental rights of the most disadvantaged groups in South African society. She also worked for Chapel & York Limited, a leading provider of cross-border fundraising services that assists NGOs with raising funds for projects all over the world.
