
Arooj Yousaf
Marketing and Communications Intern
Arooj is GFC’s Communications and Marketing Intern for Fall 2020. She provides a wide range of research, editorial, digital media, and general support to the Communications and Marketing team. Before joining GFC, Arooj gained previous communications experience in her roles with Planned Parenthood and the Middle East Institute. She also has extensive research and editorial experience, working as a Research Assistant for her university and as a Fellow for Citizens’ Climate Lobby, in which she collaborated with the United Nations Development Programme on its Mission 1.5 project. She recently graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Global Public Health and is interested in pursuing a Masters of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health. She is fluent in English and Urdu and proficient in Arabic and Hindi.
