Youth for Public Health improves access to educational resources for young people in rural areas and supports and strengthens youth development. The organization is launching a mobile classroom that delivers on-site and in-person programs using specially designed equipment with interactive educational resources and a mobile cinema.
Dedicated to reducing rates of incarceration and recidivism among Nairobi’s youth, YSAI works directly in prisons to develop young people’s leadership and livelihood skills, while also working with children and youth in the heart of communities – especially in slums, where the incidence of crime is high – to promote community safety and steer them away from crime.
Zaporuka supports children who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families, as well as children with other serious medical issues. The organization’s projects include the “Dacha Center” where families can stay for free while their children are receiving treatment.
Zvavahera Transformational Youth Club advocates for the needs of children and youth in rural communities and empowers them to have a voice in development efforts. The organization provides livelihoods training to young people and facilitates games and educational trips to help them boost their self-confidence.
