Tyas Pusposari
Research and Learning Manager
Tyas Pusposari guides GFC’s learning and evaluation initiatives by gathering and using evidence to strengthen GFC practices and deepen the impact that GFC is making through flexible, trust-based funding on community-based organizations. Her evaluation practice is grounded in feminist and intersectional values. Before joining GFC, Tyas worked with Global Fund for Women (GFW) as a Learning and Evaluation Officer and with several grassroots organizations as a social researcher in her native Indonesia. At GFW, she integrated monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems into Salesforce. She produced analyses for various stakeholders and fostered organizational learning across thematic areas. In Indonesia, she conducted extensive research on women’s rights, philanthropy, child trafficking, and local politics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology from the University of Indonesia and a master’s degree in public administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey as a Fulbright Scholar. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in evaluation practice at Claremont Graduate University. She is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English and is learning Portuguese.
