
Mariana Ponce
Young Leaders of the Americas Fellow
Mariana Ponce is a psychologist specialized in positive psychology, as well as in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for children and youth. She is a 2020 Young Leaders of the Americas (YLAI) Fellow at GFC, supporting a learning review for GFC’s Empowering Adolescent Girls in Central America initiative, as well as scouting and mapping new grassroots organizations dedicated to education in Colombia and Ecuador. Mariana is an expert in positive youth development (PYD) and has devoted her time to promoting PYD in her home country of Venezuela through the design of teen programs and of school, summer camp, and family interventions. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
