Associação Viva a Vida (Brazil)
Born in Wales, Cressida Evans started working with children in 1991, in an orphanage in Iasi, Romania. Inspired to train in this area, she completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Sciences at the Bosphorus University in Istanbul, in 1997. She then worked to promote anti-racism at Peterborough’s Racial Equality Council and as a Project Manager for the NGO Family Action in London, running a range of projects for vulnerable children, young people and their families. In 2004, she moved to Salvador, where, in 2013, she became the General Coordinator of Viva a Vida, a post handed over to Evelin Salles in 2020. She continues to support Viva a Vida as a Consultant, particularly in international relations.
