Young Gamechangers Fund Project Officer

Conor Forker serves as a Program Officer on Global Fund for Children’s Europe and Eurasia team, supporting the Young Gamechangers Fund initiative in the UK. Prior to joining GFC, he founded Clonmore Youth Club in Northern Ireland in 2017 to help reduce the mental health impact of rural and social isolation for young people aged 3 to 25. Until 2023, he held the Youth Worker in Charge position, overseeing the club’s activities including a diverse range of education, skill development, and community engagement programs. Conor has participated in the US Department of State’s Emerging Young Leaders exchange program and the Washington Ireland Program, among other prestigious programs. He is pursuing a master’s degree in community youth work from Ulster University Magee, where he is focused on anti-oppressive youth work practice and the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. He holds a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from the University of Aberdeen.
