Building on our long-term partnership, this year Global Fund for Children has collaborated with Tea Collection for a special campaign starting today on #GivingTuesday. Tea Collectionâs CEO and co-founder Leigh Rawdon cares deeply about supporting children everywhere. Driven by this passion, Leigh set up a partnership with Global Fund for Children more than 20 years ago and ever since, Tea Collection has donated 10% of their profits each year to GFC – more than $500,000!
Tea Collection is selling an exclusive, while-supplies-last graphic t-shirt with all proceeds going to Mavi Kalem, one of GFCâs community-based partners in Turkey. On this global day of giving back, you can support community-led change for children and their families rebuilding from the 2023 earthquakes in Turkey.

About Mavi Kalem:
Mavi Kalem was founded in the wake of the 1999 Marmara Earthquake, with a mission to support women and children. After the devastating earthquake in KahramanmaraĹ, Turkey, on February 6, 2023, Mavi Kalem quickly mobilized to support the 11 million people affected across 13 provinces. GFC was one of the first to respond, offering vital assistance from our emergency support fund. In the frigid winter months after the earthquake, Mavi Kalem provided essential aid, including clothing, baby supplies, and psychosocial support to the children affected. They also set up children’s parks to create safe spaces for play and healing. Thanks to the ongoing support from GFC, Mavi Kalem is continuing to support children and their families as they rebuild their lives.
