Global Fund for Children’s 2023-2024 Annual Report

We’re reflecting with pride on the last 30 years of GFC while celebrating last year’s progress and impact.

Over the last three decades, GFC has supported more than 1,300 community-based partners and reached over 11 million children. As we celebrated our 30th anniversary last year, we reflected on our journey and reaffirmed our commitment to building a better future for children by continuing to support community organizations that are courageously shifting norms, policies, and practices in an increasingly challenging global landscape.

We are pleased to share that during the 2023-2024 fiscal year, GFC awarded over $11 million in flexible grants to 398 organizations working to improve the lives of children and young people across 43 countries. We welcomed 139 new partners in ten countries and continued to expand our initiatives focused on advancing solutions to critical social issues, including education, gender justice, climate resilience, and more.

From reaching more grassroots partners and empowering more youth leaders to responding to complex global and regional crises, the GFC model is proving more essential than ever as our partners create change in their communities.

Thank you for your partnership as we continue to build a future in which all children and youth are safe, strong, and valued. You can read more about our work in our just-released 2023-2024 Annual Report
