Mohammed Taher
Senior Operations and Human Resources Associate
As the Operations and Human Resources Associate at Global Fund for Children, Mohammed Taher aids in developing and strengthening the organization’s collective capacity in multiple functional areas, including administration, human resources, technology, and facilities. He is responsible for providing support for the operational and administrative needs of GFC’s leadership team and ensuring that GFC’s daily operations run smoothly. Prior to joining GFC, Mohammed worked for the Arlington County Public Health Division, where he responded to the COVID-19 pandemic in several roles, from Contact Tracer and Case Investigator to Contact Tracing Team Supervisor. He also has experience in community outreach and health education and in improving workflow processes to become more efficient and effective. Mohammed holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Virginia. He is fluent in Bengali and proficient in Spanish.
