Victor Mugambi
Advocacy and Events Associate
Victor Mugambi is part of Global Fund for Children’s influencing team. Victor has over four years of experience with international nongovernmental organizations and holds expertise in global adolescent and youth development, as well as advocacy and influencing through meaningful youth engagement, strategic partnerships, diplomacy, movement building, and social inclusion and intersectionality.
Prior to joining GFC, Victor served as a youth engagement advisor for Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) and worked with community-based organizations to influence change, policy reforms, and social accountability in sexual and reproductive health and rights. As a youth expert, he has been engaged as a technical advisor for the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health in Kenya. He has also contributed to shaping the landscape of youth-led initiatives in the Global South through innovative methodologies that place youth at the core of design and implementation.
As a passionate advocate for global social justice, Victor dedicates his spare time to raising awareness on critical issues such as youth leadership, ending violence against men, women, and girls, governance, and addressing social inequalities.
Victor studied veterinary medicine and surgery at the University of Nairobi. He is fluent in English and Swahili.
