Kieran Lewis
Senior Partnerships Manager
Kieran Lewis manages Global Fund for Children’s partnerships in the UK and across Europe. He also supports the development of the Spark Fund, a global, youth-led participatory fund. Prior to joining GFC, Kieran was the Partnerships Funding Manager for The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF), the largest grantmaking body in the UK. While at TNLCF, Kieran worked to develop its Young People in the Lead advisory panels, ensuring that the voices of children and young people were represented in key decision-making processes. He worked alongside a diverse range of community-led organizations to co-design funding programs that sought to increase equity of outcome. Kieran has a research and policy background, with a focus on alternative approaches that divert young people away from the criminal justice system. He previously lived in the Netherlands, where he worked as a research consultant for a European Commission development program at the Institute of Security and Global Affairs in The Hague. Kieran has conducted research around internet ethnography and has a master’s degree in new media from the University of Amsterdam and a bachelor’s degree in social anthropology from the London School of Economics.
