Safeguarding Officer and Designated Safeguarding Lead
Bri LaTendresse supports safeguarding for both Global Fund for Children and Funder Safeguarding Collaborative (FSC). She develops and leads safeguarding training for all GFC personnel, manages the annual Global Safeguarding Policy review, provides safeguarding capacity development for GFC partners, and serves as GFC’s Designated Safeguarding Lead. For FSC, Bri plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the collaborative and in providing support to members and their grantee partners. She provides logistical, technical, and administrative support across the full range of FSC activities and facilitates regular communication and engagement with FSC members. Bri holds a master’s degree in international affairs from American University’s School of International Service. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa and a minor in cultural migration studies from California State University, Long Beach.
