Éducation, pouvoir des jeunes

Meet our new Spark Fund partners!

Par Fonds mondial pour l'enfance

We’re excited to welcome 16 new partners to our global network of changemakers.

Le Fonds Spark, a partnership between Global Fund for Children and the Fondation Avast, invests in youth-led and youth-focused groups tackling injustice and inequality, driving transformational change, and building a more inclusive post-pandemic world by harnessing the power of digital technologies.

The Spark Fund launched in the fall of 2021, and the first round of funding was focused on youth-led and youth-focused groups in Europe and Eurasia. Between February and May 2022, a group of ten panelists aged 18-30 from African countries designed and led the grantmaking process in this region. Using an innovative technology platform developed with Nation partagée, they selected 16 organizations in Lesotho, Namibia, and Zimbabwe to receive Spark Fund grants.

Regional youth panels also met earlier this year to select Spark Fund grantees in the Americas and South Asia – stay tuned for more information about the new Spark Fund partners in these regions!
