Kelsi Jeune

Kelsi Young is part of Global Fund for Children’s development team and works to cultivate GFC’s institutional and individual donor bases. Prior to working with GFC, Kelsi worked as a Development Officer at Center for Girls, one of GFC’s partner organizations. In this position, she worked for over three years to promote women’s and children’s rights and the prevention of abuse, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and gender-based violence in Northern Thailand. Kelsi also has three years of experience teaching English to elementary school students and North Korean defectors in South Korea. She holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology with concentrations in cultural and medical anthropology from the University of Central Florida, as well as a Master of Public Health degree with a focus in global health from the University of Utah Asia Campus. Kelsi is proficient in Korean. She is proud to serve on the steering committee of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy’s DC chapter.
