Jemimah Olaniyi

Jemimah Olaniyi supports Global Fund for Children by ensuring efficient and accurate operation of GFC’s day-to-day global grantmaking efforts. Born and raised in East London, England, she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and advertising at Edge Hill University, where she developed a strong foundation in her field. Jemimah has worked with several charities, including The National Lottery Community Fund, Phoenix Fund, Future Youth Zone, and The Wildlife Trust Lancashire. These experiences broadened her understanding of grantmaking processes and fueled her commitment to driving positive change within communities. Jemimah has worked extensively with young people, volunteering as a youth worker and sitting on two youth advisory panels. While in those positions, she lobbied for youth voices to be a key part of programs aimed toward young people. Jemimah’s deep-seated passion for the environment and youth empowerment pushes her to continue creating a better world for young people.
