Boris Kodjoe joins other GFC Global ambassadors who are championing GFC and its work to empower young people around the world.
Known for his roles in hit TV series such as Station 19, House of Cards, and The Last Man on Earth, as well as blockbuster films like the Resident Evil franchise, Boris brings his passion for social change and youth power to his new role.
My father is from Ghana and that is where my interest and work in Africa started. I was always annoyed as a kid by all the stereotypes that were propagated about Africa. I work with Full Circle Africa to change that narrative and show people the real Africa.

With over 25 years of experience in business development and expertise in entertainment, media, and technology, Boris has launched successful ventures in the health and wellness space alongside his wife, Nicole Ari Parker, including the GymWrap fitness apparel line and the Kodjoe Family Foundation. Through their foundation, they support health and wellness initiatives for underserved communities and provide opportunities for talented Black students to access higher education through the “Love All Scholarship Program.
When we go into diverse communities, I always remind people not to teach and preach but to listen and learn. Because the people on the ground know best what is needed and how it’s needed…if you want to help, listen.
