
Victor Juarez
Program Coordinator and Network Facilitator
Victor Juarez works as a Program Coordinator and Network Facilitator for Global Fund for Children’s RECARGA initiative. Over the past 17 years, he has worked with the US government and in businesses, higher education, entrepreneurship, migration, tourism, and the health sector in Central America, Mexico, and the US. For the last three years, he’s been working on bridging the gap of mental health access among underserved populations from a Hispanic or Mayan background with his social business, TuConsejería. TuConsejería is a web-based technological solution that allows anyone to find real-time and confidential support from mental health professionals during a crisis. Victor has been part of different fellowship programs, including serving as a Halcyon Fellow, Central America Healthcare Initiative Fellow, Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative Fellow, and International Visitor Leadership Program Fellow. He is an advocate for equity with a passion for Guatemala and youth in the region. Victor is a native Spanish speaker and fluent English speaker, and he speaks a little French.
