Angel Gilberto Rodríguez Hernández

Angel Gilberto Rodríguez Hernández works with Global Fund for Children’s programs team to support the Changing Gender Attitudes, Empowering Girls initiative. Prior to joining GFC, Angel worked with Organización para el Empoderamiento de la Juventud, one of GFC’s partner organizations, on a project related to new masculinities that involved the Instituto WEM in Costa Rica. He also worked with the Bebé Piénsalo Bien teen pregnancy prevention program in Costa Rica and completed an internship with the civil society organization GENDES A.C. in Mexico. Angel has facilitated workshops in Central America and Mexico with ChildFund’s Confío project. He has a degree in psychology and is a native Spanish speaker with a working knowledge of English and Portuguese.
