Tapiwa Chatora is responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations of Global Fund for Children’s Washington, DC, office and UK Trust, which includes collaborating with stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, funds reporting, compliance, and financial management of income and expenditures. As a qualified accountant, Tapiwa is interested in using emerging technologies to enhance strategic and operational organizational goals. He has experience working in the finance and grants teams of international and local nongovernmental organizations based in Africa and the UK, including working with grassroots organizations to strengthen their strategic and operational plans. Tapiwa has worked on a variety of global interventions including health, education, and child protection programs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration. He is also a registered and qualified member with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Tapiwa is fluent in English and Shona.
