Abigail Stallworth
Senior Manager, Donor Relations
Abigail Stallworth is a member of Global Fund for Children’s development team, engaging our generous donors to raise funds to support GFC and our partners around the world.
Abigail has dedicated her career to helping nonprofits become more sustainable and access the flexible resources they need to do the most good. Abigail began her career working on the development team at Polaris, an anti-human-trafficking organization, where she helped implement a major donor circle and managed the donor database. From there, she focused on writing grant proposals and reports for organizations that focused on climate change, education advocacy, and board development. Most recently, she worked as the Development Manager at the Nuclear Threat Initiative to develop internal policies and processes for the fundraising team and implement an events-based major donor program.
Abigail has also spent the last three years volunteering as the Gala Chair for the DC Chapter of Engineers Without Borders and previously volunteered with the anti-street-harassment nonprofit Collective Action for Safe Spaces.
Abigail has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from American University and speaks German.
