Maya Ajmera is founder of Global Fund for Children and author of more than 20 books. Childrenâs books have played a key role in GFCâs story: proceeds from Mayaâs first book, Children from Australia to Zimbabwe, supported GFCâs very first grants back in 1997.
Since then, Maya and other authors have collectively developed more than 30 books under the imprint Global Fund for Children Books, including Global Babies, Faith, Be My Neighbor, and more. Proceeds from sales of Global Fund for Children Books continue to benefit GFCâs work with local organizations serving children around the world.
