New Global Fund for Children Book!

August 9, 2019 | GFC & Partner Updates

We’re excited to announce that a new Global Fund for Children Book is available now!

In Back to School, by Maya Ajmera and John Ivanko, stunning photographs capture school life in 38 countries around the world.

Publisher’s Weekly calls Back to School a celebration of the ways that schools “globally ignite children’s curiosity and connect them to dedicated teachers, new friends, and a wider world.”

Maya Ajmera is founder of Global Fund for Children and author of more than 20 books. Children’s books have played a key role in GFC’s story: proceeds from Maya’s first book, Children from Australia to Zimbabwe, supported GFC’s very first grants back in 1997.

Since then, Maya and other authors have collectively developed more than 30 books under the imprint Global Fund for Children Books, including Global Babies, Faith, Be My Neighbor, and more. Proceeds from sales of Global Fund for Children Books continue to benefit GFC’s work with local organizations serving children around the world.
