Global Fund for Children supports community-based organizations around the world that are empowering girls and increasing their access to quality education.

This initiative is a partnership between the Estée Lauder Companies Charitable Foundation and GFC.

Our local partners in this initiative are helping children and youth – particularly adolescent girls – access quality education, bridge the digital divide, and build skills for brighter futures. They are located in Kenya, Mexico, South Africa, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.

These organizations are helping girls access and thrive in educational environments by:

  • Supporting girls who face persistent barriers to educational success and addressing the digital gender divide that has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Providing direct educational services through digital classrooms, tutoring, mentoring, and more.
  • Creating opportunities for children and youth to participate in the arts and develop leadership, life, and livelihood skills.

GFC is providing these local organizations with flexible funding and capacity development services to support their growth and effectiveness.
