Inspire young readers with a gift that gives back

When you purchase a Global Fund for Children book, your gift makes a difference in the lives of children and youth worldwide.

This holiday season, choose from more than 20 Global Fund for Children books, including award-winning titles like Bebés globales, De regreso a la escuela, y Come Out and Play, as well as the recently published Global Baby Playtime.

Each of these books features positive images of children and provides young readers with a window into different countries and cultures – from Ghana to Greece to Guatemala. The books foster global citizenship in kids, helping them to recognize the experiences – like feeling excited on the first day of school – that they share with children across the globe.

“These books have played an important role in GFC’s work,” said Maya Ajmera, GFC’s Founder and the current President and CEO of Society for Science and Publisher of Noticias científicas. “When I founded the organization more than 25 years ago, proceeds from the first book I co-wrote, Niños de Australia a Zimbabwe, supported GFC’s first grants to grassroots groups.”

Hoy, these books continue to support GFC’s work partnering with community-based organizations around the world to help children and youth reach their full potential and advance their rights.

“Celebrating diversity and inclusion is the power of Global Fund for Children books,” Ajmera said. “I am so proud that there are millions of readers of all ages who have embraced Global Fund for Children books.”

Buying a book isn’t the only way to support children and youth this holiday season. If you donate to GFC by December 31, a GFC Board member will instantly match your gift!
