Jalixa Mancebo
Marketing and Communications Intern
Jalixa Mancebo supports Global Fund for Children’s marketing and communications team. She is a rising senior at Rutgers University, where she is majoring in marketing and minoring in psychology. Jalixa is passionate about combining the power of words, digital media, and stories with community service and philanthropy in order to help others. Prior to joining GFC, Jalixa gained digital media, writing, and research experience through marketing leadership positions at her university. She has also worked alongside LAZOS America Unida as a volunteer event coordinator for the Mexican American Council of New Jersey’s 2019 conference, an experience that helped her to develop skills in media outreach, project coordination, fundraising, and marketing. Jalixa is fluent in Spanish.
